ABOUT

‘Art goblins with catchy tunes and a flaky whimsical charm’ B13 Magazine.

3 piece girl group with tightly knitted harmonies that we’ll smother your face with while dressed as narwhals and nebulae.

Now reformed as a scrunchy faced-pop trio from Birmingham, KateGoes started in 2005 as a bonkers, 5 piece pop band. Playing IndieTracks, Latitude Festival and Radio 1’s Big Weekend in 2008 on the introducing stages and getting airtime on Radio 6 from Chris Hawkins and Huw Stevens who they recorded a Maida Vale Session for. By invitation they supported Misty’s Big Adventure (on two UK tours), Jeffrey Lewis and Haiku Salut. Writing the theme tune to a BBC3 sitcom ‘Coming of Age’ receiving over 19,000 listens on the Myspace of myth and legend. Restlessly eclectic and imaginative, they veer from chaotic pop to anarchic folk, whilst squeaking dog toys, bashing bongos and singing about yeast infections.
